Locations

We currently offer programming and workshops in A.P. Giannini Middle School located in the Sunset District of San Francisco.

APG Beacon Office, Room 130 (3151 Ortega Street) is located on the ground floor of A.P. Giannini Middle School near the Wellness Center. You can get to our office by entering the school through the main entrance and checking in at the front desk.

Beacon Media Lab, Room 132A (3151 Ortega Street) is a space for students to study, explore media arts, and so much more! Students can access the Media Lab by entering the Beacon Office (Room 130).

APG Garden is our beautiful outdoor green space accessible to youth and community members of all ages. Our garden includes native and non-native plants, a green house, compost, a pizza oven, our outdoor classroom, and our four egg-laying hens Mushroom, Gooseberry, Midnight, and Pepper. We host Garden Work Days throughout the year where we welcome community members to support us in beautifying the space.

Noriega Office (3925 Noriega Street) is a community space that offers numerous high quality, free programs to youth and adults for San Francisco’s west side. Programs include Sunset Media Wave, family support services, and afterschool programming.
